Spray-N-Grow Research,Vegetables Research

Runner Type Peanuts

A.E. Nightingale, Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus
Horticulture Sciences
Texas A&M University

Location: John Stahman Farm – Waller, Texas

One application of 300 lbs. 8-12-8 made at time of planting. Normal cultural practices followed until harvest. When plants attained the fifth true leaf stage, 60 ft. of two rows were selected for uniformity, one row to be treated and the other for control. These figures represent a 32% yield increase over the untreated plants. These results are very promising and warrant further testing in 1990 with this and other types of peanuts.

Spray-N-Grow was applied on 5/8, 5/26, and 5/30. On 9/1 the plants were dug by hand and the peanuts removed from the vines and weighed.

TRIAL RESULTS
Treated: 27.5 lbs.
Control: 20.75 lbs.

About Us

We are from a family farming background and we understand and appreciate what you do. Our company was started by Bill and Ethel Muskopf in 1983 as a mail-order gardening company.  Bill, a chemist, developed a micronutrient product called Spray-N-Grow for gardeners. A few brave commercial growers did field trials with our “gardening” product. Because of those on-farm trials and the research of Dr. Nightingale, farmers all over the country use Spray-N-Grow on many types of crops with excellent results.

This web site is full of valuable information on how Spray-N-Grow can make a difference on your crops and increase your profit.  For personalized protocol, please give me a call.
