One application of 300 lbs. 8-12-8 made at time of planting. Normal cultural practices followed until harvest. When plants attained the fifth true leaf stage, 60 ft. of two rows were selected for uniformity, one row to be treated and the other for control. These figures represent a 32% yield increase over the untreated plants. These results are very promising and warrant further testing in 1990 with this and other types of peanuts.
Spray-N-Grow Micronutrients was applied on 5/8, 5/26, and 5/30. On 9/1 the plants were dug by hand and the peanuts removed from the vines and weighed.
TRIAL RESULTS
Treated: 27.5 lbs.
Control: 20.75 lbs.
